Atlantis Subsea Indonesia Collaborates to Achieve Certification
PT Atlantis Subsea Indonesia, a marine survey company, collaborated with Sintesa, a solution synergy consultant, as well as FATIR Certification and Ares International Certification to obtain ISO 9001.45001.14001 certification, last July 17.
A competitive advantage, innovation and the courage to take on very strong challenges are needed in order to survive and develop in the era of globalization, because protection from the government no longer applies to domestic business actors who want to enter the world market. “Only business actors who are able to increase their competitive advantage, are innovative and brave will increase their market share at the international level,” said President Director, Atlantis Subsea Indonesia, Yophi Kurniawan.
According to Yophi, quality management is very important in a company because it is the main foundation. Atlantis Subsea has a high risk in work, the success or failure of a project really depends on the role of control and supervision. A project that is currently underway will experience changes from the plans that have been set. Here is the role of good quality management in the company.
ISO 14001 certification regarding optimizing and saving waste processing is required by Atlantis Subsea because this company does not yet have a unit that handles waste.
After obtaining this certificate, Atlantis Subses will later implement a system that regulates how business and industrial activities manage the environment so that it remains healthy and safe from the risk of pollution. There is also the application of three principles, namely, pollution prevention, pollution control, and remediation. Apart from that, health standards are very important for all of us who are starting to return to our activities, to avoid all diseases.
Yophi Kurniawan stated that Atlantis Subsea believes that Sintesa is committed to articulating problems and changes that are in line with the company’s business expectations in a solution and competitive manner. Ares and FATIR are trusted certification bodies and can carry out this certification within the requested time. “Atlantis Subsea will pay more attention to every creation or preparation of action plans and standard operating procedures based on and integrated with our ISO,” he said.
